The author of the best technical article in Nova Notes in a given calendar year is eligible for the Burke-Gaffney Award (txt), which is a book prize.

Members who are content with the electronic version of Nova Notes, and who wish to unsubscribe to the print version (which would save save the Centre time and expense) may contact the Editor, Quinn Smith, at quinnjem_AT_yahoo.com

Any member can borrow books from the Library, which is open at regular meetings, attended by the Librarian.

Our Library Collection is available for download in PDF format.

Our Librarian has also developed an "Astronomer's Code" for augmenting emails on the discussion list in an entertaining way.
